About Us

Our founder, Zen, first got a taste of poke after spending his childhood summer in Oahu, Hawaii. This paradise has fully established his passion towards fresh ingredients. With many years of experience within the food industry, Zen became a proud sushi chef and a successful multi-restaurant owner. He was envisioned to bring fresh and healthy traditional Hawaiian flavor to his valued customers.

Sally is a Purdue alumna. As a boilermaker and a poke lover, she and Zen were quickly onboard to bring the tropical island paradise to the Purdue campus. Their goal is to serve fresh pacific flavors going beyond the bowl and creating unforgettable experiences for all Boiler Makers.
